Development of the "TEXAS style Spicy Avocado Fillet Burger" — KFC's first-ever burger using avocado — began in 2024. After spending nearly two full years carefully considering taste, quality, and service operations, we arrived at the final product. The avocado, which we were most particular about, was considered in various forms including diced and paste, and ultimately we decided on a filling form incorporating diced avocado. The design maximizes the natural deliciousness of the avocado itself, while ensuring a stable appearance and quality even after time has passed. Another key point of focus was the addition of cumin and coriander, which allows a pleasant spice aroma to come through within the mellow richness of the avocado. The "TEXAS style Spicy Avocado Fillet Burger" — where "Boneless Kentucky" as the centerpiece meets a spicy avocado filling inspired by guacamole and rich cheddar slice cheese.
