Krispy Kreme Japan Drops Epic "Super Mario Galaxy Movie" Donuts!
A collaboration between the movie The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (releasing April 24, 2026) and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! Three types of donuts themed around the movie's "world of adventure" will be released for a limited time starting Wednesday, April 8.
This is a special collaboration with the latest entry in the popular series, following The Super Mario Bros. Movie (released in 2023), which recorded over $1.3 billion in box office revenue worldwide. In this project celebrating the 20th anniversary of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts' arrival in Japan, three types of donuts inspired by Mario, Yoshi, and Luma will appear, along with a simultaneously released "Question Block" donut, an iconic symbol of the Super Mario world.
Note: Purchase is limited to 6 collaboration items per transaction (up to 6 total for the 3 types of collaboration donuts).

These fun-to-look-at collaboration donuts fully capture the world of Mario! Their perfection is so high that voice actor Mamoru Miyano, who plays Mario, praised them, saying, "They look too cute and it’s a waste to eat them...!"
■ "Mario Strawberry" 388 yen (In-store: 396 yen)
A vivid ring donut dressed in Mario's signature color. The fluffy dough is coated with slightly tart strawberry icing and topped with red and blue sprinkles inspired by Mario's outfit, along with star-shaped sugar sprays expressing the galaxy feel of the movie. Finished with a Mario hat pick, this is a must-see item for Mario fans.
■ "Yoshi Custard Egg" 410 yen (In-store: 418 yen)
A playful item that turns Yoshi's egg directly into a donut. On top of the dough coated with rich white chocolate, a green plate chocolate inspired by the egg's pattern is placed. It is filled with plenty of custard cream made with Hokkaido milk. Its perfection makes it look just like a real Yoshi egg, making you want to line them up and take pictures.
■ "Luma & Blueberry Galaxy" 410 yen (In-store: 418 yen)
A special item featuring Luma, an important character in this movie, expressing the mysterious world of the galaxy. Based on white chocolate, the galaxy is imagined with pink strawberry coating and yellow pudding-flavored coating. Furthermore, a juicy blueberry nappage is layered and silver dragées are scattered to recreate the sparkle of the universe. A donut where you can fully enjoy the movie's world, accented by a colorful Luma monaka plate.
■ "Question Block Box" (1 box) 540 yen (In-store: 550 yen)
An exciting product where one donut is placed in a square box that looks exactly like a real "Question Block." The custard-flavored ring donut comes with a random item pick from five types: "Yoshi’s Egg," "Super Mushroom," "Fire Flower," "Ice Flower," and "Red Shell." The mechanism where you don't know what will come out until you open the box is exactly like the Question Block in the game!

"Galaxy Dozen Half (6 pieces)" (1,825 yen / In-store: 1,859 yen), which adds the popular classic
"Original Glazed®" and
"Double Choco Crunch" to the 3 collaboration donuts, is provided in a limited-edition box with a movie design (available while supplies last). A campaign is also underway where one random
limited-edition sticker out of three designs (Mario, Yoshi, Rosalina & Luma) is given for each box purchased (while supplies last).
Additionally, a collaboration eco-bag (1,980 yen) with a movie design is available in a limited quantity of 4,000. A campaign where you can get a discount by purchasing it together with donuts is also planned (*please check store for details).
The "Shibuya Cine Tower Store" Transforms into the World of Mario!
During the collaboration period, the "Shibuya Cine Tower Store" will transform into a special space where you feel like you've entered the world of the movie! The interior will be decorated with characters such as Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser Jr., and a photo spot expressing the movie's world is also planned.
