First-Ever Character Collab Drops "Juicy Strawberry Smoothie" on April 10!
McDonald's will release two new collaboration products with Sanrio's popular characters [Hello Kitty & Pompompurin] — "Hello Kitty's Juicy Strawberry Smoothie" and "Pompompurin's Creamy Pudding Frappe" — for a limited period starting April 10 (Friday).
With the message "Won't you come to McDonald's for something sweet?", McCafé's first-ever character collaboration is born. Special dessert drinks in both taste and appearance have come to life.
NEW■"Hello Kitty's Juicy Strawberry Smoothie" 450 yen~
A smoothie with exquisite balance of sweetness and acidity, with juiciness and satisfaction as if eating strawberry gelato. The pop and vivid color inspired by Hello Kitty's trademark red ribbon catches the eye, a cup of exciting appearance and taste packed full of sweet-sour and fruity strawberry deliciousness.
■NEW "Pompompurin's Creamy Pudding Frappe" 490 yen~
Caramel sauce with a slightly bitter accent and smooth whipped cream are layered on a custard-flavored frappe drink where you can feel the richness of egg yolk and the taste of milk. The custard taste, caramel sauce, and whipped cream come together exquisitely, with a deliciousness like drinking a real pudding itself! A heart-fluttering dessert drink that is truly a "drinkable pudding" in both appearance and taste.
In the TV commercial, Ano-san, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin make their first co-appearance. Hello Kitty and Pompompurin dance cutely while singing a parody of Kishidan's classic song "One Night Carnival."
Also, to commemorate the collaboration, the two new products will be provided in quantity-limited cups depicting Hello Kitty and Pompompurin enjoying their respective drinks! It's first come, first served so don't forget!
