McDonald's Japan will release the new burger product "Koku-Uma Karubi Yakiniku-Style Teritama," the 2nd installment of the "Teritama Family," for a limited period starting March 25 (Wednesday).
Spring at McDonald's means "Teritama." Commemorating this year's 30th anniversary of its release, a 2nd new burger debuts as a "special spring" of continuing excitement. Of course, "Teritama Burger" and "Cheese Teritama" are also on sale.
A burger combining umami-packed pork patty coated with sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, egg, crispy lettuce, and karubi yakiniku-style filling characterized by the umami of beef and the deep-flavored sauce taste. The addictive karubi yakiniku-style filling — finished mildly with the richness of egg yolk in a sweet and savory sauce based on soy sauce and garlic with sesame oil, combined with beef, onion, and other ingredients — pairs perfectly with teritama! A dish with plenty of eating satisfaction.
The TV commercial features Ryo Yoshizawa (a Japanese actor), making his first appearance in a "Teritama Family" CM. Pay attention to Yoshizawa, who expresses his excitement with his whole body while humming the 80s city pop classic "U, Fu, Fu, Fu," by EPO.
