McDonald's Company (Japan), Ltd. will sell the new product "McFlurry Kinoko no Yama & Takenoko no Sato," using the popular chocolate snacks "Kinoko no Yama" and "Takenoko no Sato," for a limited time starting January 21 (Wed). It is the first collaboration product where "chunky" pieces of "Kinoko no Yama" and "Takenoko no Sato" are included simultaneously in a single sweet within smooth soft serve.
"McFlurry Kinoko no Yama & Takenoko no Sato" is a chilled sweet perfect for winter, featuring smooth soft serve topped with Meiji's long-selling products "Kinoko no Yama" and "Takenoko no Sato"—characterized by crispy crackers or melt-in-the-mouth cookie dough and two layers of chocolate—and finished with two different types of chocolate sauce. Let's enjoy the exquisite balance with the soft serve while utilizing the different textures and flavors possessed by each snack.
Also, this is the first time that "Kinoko no Yama" and "Takenoko no Sato," popular chocolate snacks that each have deep-rooted fans, are being used simultaneously in a single sweet. You can enjoy the hugely popular chocolate snacks with different shapes, textures, and flavors at the same time; furthermore, this one-of-a-kind product where the McFlurry's smooth soft serve draws out the personalities of both is a "dream collaboration" that produces a new harmony, making it a special McFlurry that can satisfy fans of both.
Furthermore, the "McFlurry Ultra Oreo® Cookie," which increases the Oreo® cookies of the "McFlurry Oreo® Cookie" for a satisfying treat, is also hugely popular as a regular menu item, allowing you to enjoy a crunchy texture and rich flavor that spreads to fill your mouth.
Since both products are "chilled sweets" where you can enjoy rich flavors precisely because it is the cold winter season, you can enjoy them in various situations, such as inside a warm store or home, or together with a warm burger or drink.
